Class C baseball in southern Minnesota
The Fox Lake Foxes are an amateur baseball club playing Class C in the First Nite League under the Minnesota Baseball Association, at the Truman High School field in Truman, Minnesota. They went 8-10 in 2026 under manager Steven Zehms.
The club is named Fox Lake, a Martin County lake and township rather than a town, and plays its home games at a high school in Truman, which is in the next county. Neither of those is unusual here: a township with no ballpark keeps its name and borrows a diamond.
Five classification points is near the floor of Class C, which for a club named after a lake is the association counting a township population that barely exists on paper.
Fox Lake Foxes is also, unavoidably, the most alliterative name in the Minnesota set.
A club named for a lake township, playing at a high school in the next county. High Cheese gives Fox Lake a page that can hold both of those without confusing anybody.
