How to join the Padres
Players do not sign up with Padres directly. They register with the Detroit MSBL, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
They are one of 17 clubs the directory carries for this league, and none of the 17 has a readable record.
A player joining this league finds it by word of mouth.
Somebody who wants the Padres specifically is depending on a league placing them there, and the High Cheese free agent pool takes that signup straight to the club.
