Invitationals, and the state tournament
The Watertown Red Devils play invitational tournament baseball alongside their league season, listed centrally by the Minnesota Baseball Association, with the MBA state tournament above all of it.
The state tournament is why the classification points matter. At 25 points the Watertown Red Devils enter it as a Class B club, and the rest of the summer is preparation.
A Watertown side driving hours to a June invitational deserves the bracket on the same page as the schedule, which is what High Cheese does.
