Invitationals, and the state tournament
The Green Isle Irish play invitational tournament baseball alongside their league season, listed centrally by the Minnesota Baseball Association, with the MBA state tournament above all of it.
The state tournament is why the classification points matter. At 29 points the Green Isle Irish enter it as a Class B club, and the rest of the summer is preparation.
A Green Isle side driving hours to a June invitational deserves the bracket on the same page as the schedule, which is what High Cheese does.
