Class C baseball in Sunburg, Minnesota
The Norway Lake-Sunburg Lakers are an amateur baseball club playing Class C in the County Line League under the Minnesota Baseball Association, at Willie Reigstad Park in Sunburg, Minnesota. They went 2-11 in 2026 under manager James Cortez.
The club is hyphenated across Norway Lake and Sunburg, which makes it the fifth merged side in this set. Sunburg is a Kandiyohi County village of about a hundred people; Norway Lake is a lake and a township. Between them they field one team, and the name gives both of them equal billing.
Six classification points is near the floor of Class C, which for a hundred residents and a lake is the association counting what there is.
The County Line League also holds the Atwater Chuckers, who won thirteen on four points, and the New London-Spicer Twins, another merged club. It is a division that runs on hyphens and very small towns.
The ballpark is on Isola Street with no number, in a village where that is a complete direction.
A lake and a village of a hundred people sharing one club and equal billing in the name. High Cheese gives them the page where the hyphen means something.
