The Wabasso Jaxx are an amateur baseball club from Wabasso, Minnesota, playing Class C in the Corn Belt League under the Minnesota Baseball Association. They went 1-17 in 2026 under manager Dustin Tietz at City Field.

The Jaxx. Two X's, which somebody chose deliberately and which nobody has since revisited. It is the only club in this directory with a doubled consonant put there for effect.

Four classification points is the joint lowest grade the association awards, shared with Atwater, Clinton, Dawson, Ortonville and Upsala. Wabasso is a Redwood County town of about six hundred.

The Corn Belt League produced Raymond at 19-4-1, Granite Falls at 16-8 and Bird Island at 15-4 this summer. One win in eighteen games in that company, from four points, is a long season.

The town's name comes from the Ojibwe for white rabbit, and appears in Longfellow's Hiawatha, which is not a connection the baseball club has ever tried to make.

Two X's, chosen deliberately, on a club at the joint lowest grade in Minnesota. High Cheese gives Wabasso the page where the spelling is the part worth keeping.
