A 26-4 season, unwritten
The association runs a news section covering its membership. Nothing in it is about this league.
A Class A club at 26-4 with four straight wins, in a section containing Miesville, is one of the better stories in Minnesota amateur baseball this summer, and it is a row in a table.
A league on High Cheese gets a wire of its own where finals post themselves as books are finalized.
Classic Cannon Valley American League in detail
- Six Class A clubs south of the Twin Cities, including a Miesville side that has lost four games all year.
- No league schedule, and clubs playing thirty games mostly outside it.
- Miesville 4-0 in the league and 26-4 overall, with Rochester yet to play a league game.
- No results page, and a Miesville side that has lost four times in thirty games.
- Six towns along the Cannon River and the bluffs, and no players named.
- Run differential is the only figure kept, and Miesville's is oddly small.
- No contact is published for the league or any of its six clubs.
- No form, no fee, and six clubs that pick their own players.
- No ballpark list here, in a league that contains some of the best-known parks in amateur baseball.
- Class A, Section 1, uniformly, which is the highest grade the association awards.
- No album or gallery.
- Nobody is thanked in public.
- A Class A season points at the state tournament, and Miesville have been there before.
- No founding year here, and the state archives kept a floor above.
- No league officers named; the association publishes its own board.
- How good it is, answered exactly. Everything practical, not at all.
- Association documents and classification criteria, none of them this league's.
- Thirty games played by the leaders, and no dates published.
- Nothing is for sale.
- No crew or assignor is named.
