Marlborough Red Sox Tournaments

Where Marlborough Red Sox play beyond the league

Marlborough Red Sox can enter the national tournaments the Boston Metro Baseball League keeps its clubs eligible for, which the league lists even though it left the MABL and MSBL national organization in 2022.

Those are the Holiday Classic in Orlando every February, the Kickoff Classic in Las Vegas every March, the World Series in Arizona every October and the Fall Classic in Florida every November, all played on major league spring training fields, plus the Roy Hobbs World Series in Fort Myers. The league also runs a Cooperstown Classic on Father's Day weekend and a Cape Cod Classic on Cape Cod League fields.

That is seven events a 28+ MetroWest Division club can enter on top of fifteen games, which is a long year for anybody who plays all of them.

A tournament entry lives on the organizer's bracket and nowhere near the club's own season, and High Cheese puts both on the Marlborough Red Sox page.
