Two people who answer
The president and the COO both publish direct phone numbers, and six board members publish contact numbers of their own.
A league that prints eight phone numbers is one confident that the people behind them will pick up, and that is a decision about how a county league should work rather than an oversight.
A claimed league on High Cheese keeps those numbers and adds what a caller currently has to ask for: which of twelve clubs has room and when the next game is.
Berkshire Adult Baseball League in detail
- Founded 2011 for Berkshire County residents, in a 20-and-over league and a 33-and-over one.
- Fourteen games played in the 20 League, and no fixture list published.
- The Millers are 13-0-1 and the Bandits are 0-14, in a six-team league.
- No results page, and a 13-0-1 record that raises a question the standings cannot answer.
- Twelve clubs named across two leagues, and no players published.
- No batting or pitching numbers are published.
- $1,000 a team, $500 at the first meeting, the balance by April 1.
- No ballparks are named, though the club names give the towns away.
- Wood bats, seven innings, bat the whole roster, and eight men is enough.
- No news or announcements are published.
- No album or gallery.
- Nobody is thanked in public.
- No postseason is described, in a league with an unbeaten club.
- Established 2011, with a founding purpose written down.
