How to join the Red Sox
Players do not sign up with Red Sox directly. They register with the Alamo MSBL, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
The Red Sox finished 4-8-1 in the Open division.
The pool appears in the standings table, which is an unusual and honest way to show that unplaced players exist.
Somebody who wants the Red Sox specifically is depending on a league placing them there, and the High Cheese free agent pool takes that signup straight to the club.
