March, by its own record
The league's dated announcements place its pre-season in early March -- tryouts and open practice on the 7th, cancelled for rain by the 10th -- and its season notice in mid-January.
It keeps an Upcoming Events block on its front page.
No opening day or closing date is published for the current season.
A season entered once on a High Cheese league page dates itself into every player's own calendar, tryouts included, and a rainout moves the date rather than generating a second post.
