Seventeen to thirty-seven
The Randall Cubs publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from seventeen to thirty-seven.
Twenty years across the bench, starting with a high school junior, on a club that lost three games all summer. A town of six hundred getting to ten wins needs both ends of a range that wide and cannot spare either.
We do not reprint it. It is a list of named people with their ages and schools attached, and Randall Cubs publishing it does not make it ours to copy. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 17 to 37 is the most interesting thing about Randall Cubs, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
