Seventeen to thirty-nine
The Opole Bears publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from seventeen to thirty-nine.
Twenty-two years across the bench, from a high school junior upward, in a settlement of a few hundred. That range is how a place this size gets to seventeen games and finishes over .500.
We do not reprint it. It is a list of named people with their ages and schools attached, and Opole Bears publishing it does not make it ours to copy. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 17 to 39 is the most interesting thing about Opole Bears, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
