Seventeen to nineteen
The Wanamingo Jacks publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from seventeen to nineteen.
Three years, from a high school junior to men barely out of school. That is the narrowest range in this set alongside Sartell's three, and for a club that played nineteen games it means a roster with no veterans at all behind it.
Whether the column is complete or partial, a city of a thousand fielding a side that young is running entirely on this year's graduating class.
None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from Wanamingo with their ages and schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 17 to 19 is the most interesting thing about Wanamingo Jacks, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
