Fifteen to twenty-nine
The Fairfax Cardinals publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it start at fifteen and stop at twenty-nine.
Fifteen is the joint youngest age recorded anywhere in this set, alongside Atwater and Bird Island. A town of twelve hundred that wants to field nine men takes a high school freshman who can play, and it does not treat that as remarkable.
Nobody over twenty-nine on it either, which is unusual. Most Class C clubs this size carry a couple of veterans, and Fairfax are doing without.
None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from Fairfax with their ages and schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours. Several of them are minors.
Fairfax Cardinals publish a roster on somebody else's platform under somebody else's terms; High Cheese lets the players decide what shows.
