Seventeen to forty-one
The Essig Bluejays publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from seventeen to forty-one.
Twenty-four years across the bench, in a settlement of a few hundred people. The span is not a philosophy, it is the only way an unincorporated community fields nine men twenty times in a summer.
The roster stays where Essig Bluejays put it. Republishing a list of named people with their ages and schools attached is not something a directory gets to decide for a club. Several of them are minors.
Essig Bluejays hand their roster to a platform that decides how it looks; High Cheese hands that decision back to New Ulm.
