Twenty-two to thirty-four
The Courtland Cubs publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from twenty-two to thirty-four.
Twelve years, no high school players, nothing past the mid thirties. That is a narrow, prime-age roster for a Class C club, and it is a large part of why a town of six hundred won twenty games.
We do not reprint it. It is a list of named people with their ages and schools attached, and Courtland Cubs publishing it does not make it ours to copy.
Courtland Cubs hand their roster to a platform that decides how it looks; High Cheese hands that decision back to Courtland.
