Twenty to twenty-five
The Richmond Royals publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from twenty to twenty-five.
Five years, top to bottom, which ties Dent, Lakeville and Luverne for the narrowest genuine range in this set. Unlike most of those, Richmond won fifteen games with it, so a young squad with no veterans is not automatically short.
It does mean the club rebuilds every few summers, which in a city of fifteen hundred is a recurring piece of work.
We do not reprint it. It is a list of named people with their ages and schools attached, and Richmond Royals publishing it does not make it ours to copy.
Richmond Royals hand their roster to a platform that decides how it looks; High Cheese hands that decision back to Richmond.
