Fifteen to twenty-six
The Lake Henry Lakers publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it start at fifteen and stop at twenty-six.
Eleven years, from a high school freshman to men in their mid twenties, with nobody older on it at all. A village of under a hundred residents fielding a side that young means the club is running entirely on whoever is currently coming through the local school.
None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from Paynesville with their ages and schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours. Several of them are minors.
Lake Henry Lakers hand their roster to a platform that decides how it looks; High Cheese hands that decision back to Paynesville.
