A published roster, in the Stearns County North
The Spring Hill Chargers publish a roster on their Minnesota Baseball Association team page with jersey numbers, positions, bats and throws, school and level of experience.
The age column is empty on this one. What the roster does is fill nine places twenty times a summer from a settlement of a few hundred, against four neighbors doing exactly the same thing within a fifteen mile radius.
None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from Melrose with their schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours.
Spring Hill Chargers hand their roster to a platform that decides how it looks; High Cheese hands that decision back to Melrose.
