Sixteen to forty-six
The St. Joseph Joes publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from sixteen to forty-six.
Thirty years across a Class B bench, starting with a high school sophomore. In a league where Sartell fields one club of eighteen to twenty-one-year-olds and another of sixteen to forty-three, a range this wide is how a club without that kind of split keeps a roster together.
We do not reprint it. It is a list of named people with their ages and schools attached, and St. Joseph Joes publishing it does not make it ours to copy. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 16 to 46 is the most interesting thing about St. Joseph Joes, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
