Sixteen to twenty-five
The Sauk Rapids Cyclones publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from sixteen to twenty-five.
Nine years, from a high school sophomore to men in their mid twenties, and nobody older. In a city of fourteen thousand with two Class A clubs six miles up the road competing for the same players, a young roster is what is left, and eleven wins from it is a good return.
We do not reprint it. It is a list of named people with their ages and schools attached, and Sauk Rapids Cyclones publishing it does not make it ours to copy. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 16 to 25 is the most interesting thing about Sauk Rapids Cyclones, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
