Sixteen to thirty-eight

The Dassel-Cokato Saints publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from sixteen to thirty-eight.

Twenty-two years across one bench, starting with a high school sophomore, across a twenty-eight game season. Two towns pooling their players is how the span gets that wide and how the schedule gets that long.

None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from Dassel with their ages and schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours. Several of them are minors.
