Liga Latina, sin dirección
Liga Latina Baseball of Colorado has no website. Its only address is a numbered Facebook profile -- no vanity name, just fifteen digits -- and Facebook returns a bad request to anything that is not a logged-in browser.
Spanish-language adult baseball is one of the largest and least documented parts of the sport in this country. Leagues like this one have long histories, serious competition and hundreds of players, and almost none of it appears in English-language directories such as ours, because almost none of it is on the open web.
That absence is not neutral. A directory that can only see what is indexed will conclude that a region has fewer leagues than it does, and a player who searches in English will never find the one that would suit him best.
A High Cheese league page gives a liga its own permanent address, in its own language, with the schedule, the standings and every roster rendered as pages -- and makes it as findable as every English-language league beside it.
