Seventeen to twenty-nine
The Benson Plowboys publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from seventeen to twenty-nine.
A young roster, topping out before thirty. Benson are fielding recent high school players and men home from college rather than the career town ball veterans a lot of Class C sides lean on.
None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from Benson with their ages and schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours. Several of them are minors.
17 to 29 on one bench is a fact worth surfacing, and High Cheese puts a club's roster where the club can shape it.
