Sixteen to twenty-one
The Nimrod Gnats publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from sixteen to twenty-one.
Five years, from a high school sophomore to men barely out of it. A village of seventy people is fielding a side made almost entirely of teenagers, which is not a strategy, it is who lives there.
None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from Sebeka with their ages and schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 16 to 21 is the most interesting thing about Nimrod Gnats, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
