Seventeen to thirty-one
The Henning North Stars publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from seventeen to thirty-one.
Fourteen years, starting with a high school junior. A town of eight hundred with no veterans past thirty-one is a club running on its recent graduates, and across a twenty-two game season that is a lot of innings for young arms.
We do not reprint it. It is a list of named people with their ages and schools attached, and Henning North Stars publishing it does not make it ours to copy. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 17 to 31 is the most interesting thing about Henning North Stars, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
