Sixteen to twenty-seven
The Heron Lake Lakers publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from sixteen to twenty-seven.
Eleven years, starting with a high school sophomore and topping out in the late twenties. No veterans at all on a winless side, which is most of the explanation: a town of six hundred with nobody over twenty-seven has no arms to turn to in the sixth inning.
We do not reprint it. It is a list of named people with their ages and schools attached, and Heron Lake Lakers publishing it does not make it ours to copy. Several of them are minors.
Heron Lake Lakers publish a roster on somebody else's platform under somebody else's terms; High Cheese lets the players decide what shows.
