Seventeen to forty
The Nowthen Knights publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from seventeen to forty.
Twenty-three years across the bench, from a high school junior to a forty-year-old. That is a normal town ball spread, and it did not stop a 2-14 season, which is a reminder that a wide roster is a way of fielding a team rather than a way of winning with it.
We do not reprint it. It is a list of named people with their ages and schools attached, and Nowthen Knights publishing it does not make it ours to copy. Several of them are minors.
Nowthen Knights hand their roster to a platform that decides how it looks; High Cheese hands that decision back to Anoka.
