Sixteen to forty-two
The Ogilvie Orioles publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from sixteen to forty-two.
Twenty-six years across the bench, starting with a high school sophomore, in a town of five hundred. The club plays at the high school and takes players from it, which is the shortest supply line in amateur baseball and the reason places this small stay in leagues at all.
The roster stays where Ogilvie Orioles put it. Republishing a list of named people with their ages and schools attached is not something a directory gets to decide for a club. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 16 to 42 is the most interesting thing about Ogilvie Orioles, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
