How to join the Red Sox
Players do not sign up with Red Sox directly. They register with the Detroit MSBL, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
A request to the league's own address returns a page with the club's name nowhere in it.
A player joining this league finds it by word of mouth.
Somebody who wants the Red Sox specifically is depending on a league placing them there, and the High Cheese free agent pool takes that signup straight to the club.
