How to join the Pirates
Players do not sign up with Pirates directly. They register with the Detroit MSBL, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
A request to the league's own address returns a page with the club's name nowhere in it.
Nothing on the web takes a signup.
Somebody who wants the Pirates specifically is depending on a league placing them there, and the High Cheese free agent pool takes that signup straight to the club.
