How to join the Pirates
Players do not sign up with Pirates directly. They register with the Connecticut Adult Baseball League, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
The Pirates played sixteen games in the season the league last recorded.
The league takes whole clubs as well as individuals.
A side that played sixteen games will lose somebody over the winter, and High Cheese is where the replacement finds the club rather than the league.
