Five questions, one answer available
When do you play, what does it cost, who do I call, am I too old, can I still get on a team. What the league's own pages can answer is nine clubs, Class C in Region 5 except Janesville at Class B in District 8, and a standings table Waterville and Minnesota Lake are running away with.
Everything else requires knowing somebody, which is the real answer about leagues like this one and the thing High Cheese exists to change: a claimed league answers all five on its own page without anybody having to find the right guy at the right bar.
13/60 League in detail
- Nine teams out of south-central Minnesota, sorted by letter instead of age.
- The league posts no schedule anyone can link to.
- Eight teams in the table, and two pages on the same site that do not agree.
- No results page. The standings are the only surviving evidence.
- No roster page. Who plays is a town matter.
- Wins, losses, run differential. That is the whole statistical record.
- No officer, email or phone number is published for this league.
- No form, no posted fee, no deadline.
- No ballpark list, though the club names give the towns away.
- No local rulebook. The league plays the association handbook.
- The association feed runs hot all August and never once says Waseca.
- No album, no gallery, nothing visual at all.
- No sponsor page, though the money comes from somewhere.
- Where a 13/60 season points: the state tournament, bracketed by letter.
- No founding year, no pennant list, no 13/60 name on the honor rolls.
- No officers, no committee, nobody listed as running it.
- The paperwork a club here deals with, all of it filed upstairs.
- No calendar, no posted season start, no posted end.
- Nothing for sale. There is no merchandise page.
- No crew listed. The forms that govern them are association forms.
